The Manchester City starlet sustained an injury against Benin in the Black Stars opening game on June 25 and has not recovered in time for what has been billed as a Group F decider against Cameroon on Saturday at the Ismailia.

A statement issued by the Team Media Officer said: "Agyepong will not be available for selection for the Cameroon game".

Agyepong, 22, was replaced in the 35th minute by debutant Samuel Owusu in Ghana's 2-2 draw with Benin.
