The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS), has on behalf of Government and the people of Ghana urged Ghanaian boxer Habib Ahmed, to go all out in his pursuit of becoming a world champion, as he challenges Mexican opponent Gilberto Ramirez for the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Super Middleweight title in Texas, United States of America (USA).
In a good will messages signed by Mr. Elvis Adjei-Baah, Head of Public Relations of MOYS, to the boxer, it said “having worked your way through to this point where you are at the verge of becoming a world champion, we urge you to take confidence and determination in your strides.
“Win the title and join the enviable number of Ghainaian world champions in the pugilist profession,” it added.
It said “we believe you will be inspired by the rich history of Ghana boxing and make yourself and the country proud”.
