David Kumador and Emmanuel Tokoli scored two goals each for their side to end the first half. Clinton Owusu of Tulip FC pulled one goal back to end the full time scores 4-1. Divine Soccer Rangers from Dome-Kwabenya took the 3rd place in the tournament.

Madam Mardey Ohui Ofoe, the Director of KFC in an interview with the GNA Sports commended the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the Foundation for Female Photojournalists (FFP), National Youth Authority, Women’s Arts Institute Africa and the Chosen One, a non-governmental organisation for their support.

She said unearthing and developing talents at the early stage had been her passion since because it was the only way future stars could be groomed for the nation. Madam Ofoe said the KFC had provided well organised soccer recreation to accommodate professional level of play that was commensurate with the GFA and FIFA rules. It also supports individual players’ ability, potential, interest and promotes a positive youth sports culture that teaches life lessons and prepares the players for a career of their choice, she said.

“Football is an incredible powerful engagement tool, and the immense national and international means that it can be utilised to not only to entertain people, but also bring about positive change to local communities,” she emphasised. Madam Ofoe said the organisation of the tournament helped to identify young stars for the promotion and growth of sports in the country.

She commended the referees for their good officiating.

Mr Michael Amfo Aesel, the Secretary of the Accra North Football Association and a member of the Technical Team of the KFC, said the country abounds with sporting talents and that corporate bodies were needed to support to unearth them.

He called on parents not to discourage their children who have interest in football, but rather assist them in their pursuit to develop their potentials.
