The Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF), on Thursday organised a seminar to equip coaches on the state of amateur boxing in the country.
The forum held at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex in Accra drew participation from about 40 recognised boxing coaches from Accra as well as referees and judges.

Coach Ofori Asare added that, the opportunity offered to those to Accra will be extended to interested persons outside Accra. Mr. George Lamptey, the vice president of GBF, said his outfit is poised to continue winning laurels for the country. He cited lack of funds, as a major challenge facing the federation and appealed for government support to grow the discipline.
