England striker Danielle Carter says tennis player Serena Williams is her sporting idol, as she prepares for a Euro 2017 qualifier against Belgium.
Carter, 23, has scored two hat-tricks in her first two matches since breaking into Mark Sampson's side.
She takes inspiration from Wimbledon champion Williams "for what's she's overcome, the history she's made".
A draw in Leuven on Tuesday would be enough for England to secure top spot in their group.
Carter, who plays for Arsenal, says she also uses Chelsea striker Diego Costa and Barcelona forward Luis Suarez as inspirations.
"You've got to have that self-belief, that self-confidence," she said.
Carter marked her England debut with a hat-trick against Estonia in September 2015 and hit another in her second appearance a year later.
She is now targeting a regular spot in Sampson's side in the build-up to Euro 2017.
"It's taken a bit longer to impress Mark," said Carter.
"I've still been involved with England at different age groups, but everyone's got a different time that they're going to make their mark and mine's taken a bit longer than the others.
"For me it was just a matter of time, and obviously I want to stay here for many years."
Left-back Claire Rafferty has withdrawn for the Belgium game with concussion.
Reading goalkeeper Mary Earps has replaced Rebecca Spencer, who has a back injury.
England have already ensured their place at Euro 2017 and are unbeaten in their last six matches.
