South Korea's Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik left for Paris on Tuesday to attend a meeting of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
During the four-day trip, Kim will lead the South Korean delegation during the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting slated to take place at the organization's Paris headquarters on Wednesday and Thursday, Kim's office said. The 34-nation OECD celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
Kim will deliver keynote remarks in support of the organization's adoption of a green growth strategy report at South Korea's proposal and his government's green growth policies, the office said.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Kim will hold separate bilateral talks with the prime ministers of Hungary, Slovakia and Norway to discuss ways to increase substantive economic cooperation and ties with the countries, the office said.
Kim is scheduled to return home on May 27.
