The late Salifu Adam Braimah, former Savannah Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Salaga South, has been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites at Kpembe.
He passed away at the age of 61 after a short illness at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).
He was appointed by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the pioneer Savannah Regional Minister following the creation of the region.
Tributes from both the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress, as well as the current Member of Parliament for Salaga South, highlighted his humanitarian spirit, dedication, and hard work as a legislator.
The three-day adua is slated on 17th April 2026 in Kpembe
