President John Dramani Mahama is set to embark on an extensive nationwide tour across all 16 regions of Ghana as part of efforts to assess the progress of ongoing development projects and strengthen engagement with citizens at the grassroots level.
The tour will see the president travel to various parts of the country to inspect key infrastructure and social intervention projects being implemented under his administration.
The initiative aims to ensure that government policies and programmes deliver tangible benefits to communities while identifying areas that may require additional attention or intervention.
The nationwide exercise will officially commence in the Bono Region, where President Mahama is scheduled to visit from Wednesday, March 18 to Thursday, March 19, 2026.
During this initial phase, he is expected to tour selected project sites, interact with local authorities, and gain firsthand insight into the region’s development needs and priorities.
After the Bono Region, the tour will continue to other regions in a phased manner, covering the entire country.
Each stop is anticipated to highlight region-specific development priorities while contributing to a broader national assessment of progress.
