The Communications Bureau of the NDC also identified Madam Judith Adjobah Blay as an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, both at home and abroad.

This was in a statement issued by the Western Regional Communications Bureau of the National Democratic Congress, signed by the Regional Communications Officer Mr Richard Kirk-Mensah and copied to Ghana News Agency in Takoradi.

The statement said, "Well-grounded expertise in strategic leadership, policy development, and sustainable business practices make her a fitting choice for this critical role."
"Indeed, her appointment marks a historic milestone as she becomes the first female Chief Executive Officer to hold such a vital position at Ghana National Gas Company Limited.

"We are particularly buoyed by her track record in managing multi-million-dollar projects, advocating local content development, and promoting regulatory compliance and operational excellence throughout her career since this knowledge will be essential in ensuring that Ghana Gas continues to play its role in the energy sector without any let."

The statement expressed confidence that her leadership would bring innovative approaches and fresh perspectives to addressing the sector's emerging challenges.

The Communications Bureau of the NDC urged workers of Ghana Gas to rally behind Judith Adjobah Blay, fostering a cooperative work environment and ensuring smooth implementation of policies that will optimise the utilisation of our natural gas resources for the benefit of all.
