The Speaker of the 9th Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, has been sworn into office. Mr Alban Bagbin, thanked all for the trust imposed in him and pledged to discharge his duties as by law established as well as his experiences as Speaker of the 8th Parliament.
Mr Bagbin has been a Parliamentarian since the beginning of the 4th Republic.
He proceeded to swear in the members of Parliament as well as preside over the elections of the Deputy Speakers.
