The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has revealed its line-up for the 2024 general elections with a team of advisors and key members to lead their campaign efforts.

The team consists of prominent figures within the party including former President John Agyekum Kufuor and current President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

They are to steer the campaign for the forthcoming elections.

Under the guidance of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, former National Chairman Freddie Blay, and former Campaign Manager, Peter Mac Manu, the NPP aims to strategise effectively and mobilise support across the country.

Also included at the helm of affairs are all members of the National Council of Elders, Elizabeth Ohene, Rev. Joyce Aryee and Akosua Frema Osei Opare, the current Chief of Staff.

Heading the campaign as the Campaign Chairman is Dan Botwe, the Member of Parliament for Okere and former Local Government and Rural Development Minister supported by Deputies Fred Oware and Nana Akomea, a former National Communications Director of the NPP.

Together, they will oversee the overall direction of the campaign, coordinating various activities and initiatives.

The General Secretary of the NPP, Justin Kodua Frimpong takes the role of Director of campaign operations with National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye as his Deputy.

Frederick Opare Ansah, former Member of Parliament (MP) for Suhum takes on the role of Campaign Manager, with Deputies Osei Bonsu Amoah for Parliamentary Campaign, Dr Ibrahim Anyars in charge of Presidential Campaign and Dr. Antoinette Tsibu-Darko in charge of Research and Administration

NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY CONSTITUTES NATIONAL CAMPAIGN COMMITTEES

The New Patriotic Party (NPP), at its National Executive Committee and National Council meetings held on Monday, February 19, 2024, approved a proposed structure for the Party’s 2024 national campaign and appointed some individuals to serve on the various national campaign committees.

A National Campaign Coordinating Committee (NCCC), which shall oversee the work of all other Committees shall be chaired by the 2024 Presidential Candidate, and assisted by the Vice Presidential Candidate.  

The National Chairman shall also serve on the National Campaign Coordinating Committee (NCCC).
