A Ugandan journalist working for the state broadcaster has been shot dead in a confrontation with security forces.
Robert Kagolo was killed at his late brother's home that was being guarded by the Local Defence Unit (LDU), a civilian paramilitary force.
Two LDU officers have been arrested over the incident.
The family had requested security from the LDU after the kidnapping and killing of Mr Kagolo's brother Samuel Musiitwa.
The journalist was returning to the house on Thursday evening after his brother's burial when he became involved in a confrontation with the officers.
It is reported that he had knocked down the gate to the house with his vehicle suspecting he was being followed.
"The disagreement led to a shooting of which the circumstances are being investigated,” a police spokesman is quoted by the state-run New Vision newspaper as saying.
