The MCE said the CHPS compound had been designed more like a clinic, adding that, there were future plans to expand it.He said the project would be fenced and a mechanised borehole provided to supply potable water to the CHPS compound and the community as a whole.

Mr. Samuel Manchi, Municipal Engineer, disclosed that a two-bedroom apartment was being constructed alongside the CHPS compound to provide accommodation for any resident nurse and health assistants that would be posted to Amanfrom when the project is completed.

The team also visited the Pokuase township roads which had been completed. The 2km road from Pokuase junction into the Pokuase township was funded from the urban development grant.

The phase one of roads from Spot-M to Tantra Hill in South Ofankor was also completed.

Mr. Quaye said the Spot-M road was unmotorable, adding that, the whole area flooded whenever it rained and was happy that the road had now been tarred.He said phase two of the road which connects Spot-M to Sowutuom roads would soon commence.

The team later visited the rehabilitation of a 2.2km Yellow House road within the Tantra Hill community and the Asofan Amamole roads.The MCE said the roads were being funded by the government of Ghana and reiterated their commitment to bring development closer to the people.

Nana Amankwaa, Tantra Hills Residents Association president expressed appreciation to the assembly for starting the rehabilitation of their roads and urged them to complete it within schedule.
