Accra, 11th May 2011: etv Ghana has added another time slot to its flagship programme ebusiness journal in its quest to providing up-to-the-minute information source and business news to its viewers. The additional time slot for ebusiness journal means that the flagship programme will be airing twice everyday on weekdays. The new showing times for ebusiness Journal is now weekdays at 12pm and 7.30pm respectively. The 12pm news is called Midday Business.
General Manager of etv Ghana, John Osei Tutu Agyeman explains that ‘the rationale behind the additional time slot of the business programme is that etv Ghana is committed to providing quality information to its viewing public. We realised that thirty minutes of information in the business world is not enough time to digest all the issues that crop up in the world of business every day. We thought it wise to give the programme an additional time slot of thirty more minutes and we believe this will boost our quest to providing more time to the business stories that arise on daily basis’.
etv Ghana’s eBusiness Journal hosted by Christal Jeanne is the only business programme on Ghana’s national free to air television. eBusiness Journal was established in the year 2009 as an information sharing platform focusing on business issues in Ghana and the International world.
eBusiness Journal over this time has taken the program all around Ghana covering feature stories and breaking business news as well as visiting countries such as Saudi Arabia to cover the Gulf Africa Investment Forum and the World Economic Forum fostering economic growth amongst many others.
