Dr Lawrence Tetteh, Founder and President of Worldwide Miracle Outreach on Tuesday called on Ghanaians to look up to God for the needed direction to develop the country.
He admonished President John Dramani Mahama not to forget God who has made it possible for him to lead the people.
Dr Tetteh in an interview with Ghana News Agency in Accra on Monday urged Ghanaians to intensify their prayers and allow God to use them for his work.
"We all have a collective responsibility to bring the nation together as one family," he added.
He said that politicians should not forget that religious bodies played a great role in the peace the country was enjoying and should be accord the needed respect.
"We should also remember to appreciate ourselves and tolerate each other for national development."
Dr Tetteh commended the leaders of the political parties for showcasing maturity in the just ended elections.
