Yaw Boateng, the afrobeat-highlife Ghanaian musician based in New Zealand is performing live in Ghana.
The show slated for 24 and 25th December, 2012 at Mark's Place near Labadi Estate would mark the launch of his new album 'lady'.
Interacting with the GNA, Zohzoh said the group has been rehearsing with some Ghanaian instrumentalists to play his songs on the night with the needed finesse.
" Terron Service the original trumpet player for the 10 piece band is also in the country to make the concert a successful one", he added.
Yaw, the band leader noted "this is the concert many Ghanaians will have to come and watch on the night, if you want to treat yourself with something special for the x'mas and the new year then you have to be here on the night"
He assured afrobeat-hipelife lovers of a unique style, fresh and original sound of music, saying many Ghanaians have not experienced this in a while.
The show is set to be opened by one of the popular Ghanaian band ramblers international.
