The South African High Commissioner, Mr Ntomdizodwa Lallie has congratulated Ghana for helping to restore peace in some conflict areas in Africa.
The Commissioner expressed his appreciation when he paid a familiarisation visit to the Achaise Jungle Warfare School (JWS) at Akim Achiase, near Akim Oda in the Eastern Region.
Mr Lallie commended the Ghana Armed Forces and military personnel of the school for their meritorious achievement over the years.
He observed that soldiers who pass through JWF are skilful, respectful, smart and possess commanding acumen that helps them during peacekeeping operations.
Lt. Peter Nicholas Andoh, the Commandant, briefed the commissioner about the operations of the school.
