Two men, who allegedly defiled a 10-year-old school girl have been remanded in prison custody until February 16 by the Asamankese Circuit Court.
Richard Agbomadgi and Stephen Lartey were alleged to have lured the girl into their room and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her.
Police Chief Inspector D.T Nartey, prosecuting, told the court that the two accused lived in the same vicinity as the girl and her mother.
He said on August 3 last year, at about 1900 hours, the two men lured the victim into their room and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her.
The girl's mother made a report to the police on learning of the act and the accused were arrested.
The prosecutor said the girl in her statement to the police said the two men had for four months been having sexual intercourse with her on a regular basis.
The accused persons, however, said they defiled the victim on three occasions.
