The Global Gateway Forum, a flagship event of the European Union, scheduled to take place from October 9 to 10, 2025, would bring together high-level representatives from various governments, financial institutions, the private sector, and civil society.

While the 2023 edition focused on the EU’s external investment initiatives, the 2025 forum seeks to advance global connectivity amidst rising geopolitical and geo-economic challenges, and will provide a platform for political leaders, business executives, and financiers to explore the opportunities and challenges of global investment partnerships.

Global Gateway is the European Union’s strategic initiative aimed at promoting smart, clean, and secure connections across the digital, energy, and transport sectors. It also seeks to strengthen health, education, and research systems worldwide.

The Forum aims to mobilise up to €300 billion in investments to support these goals.
