President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to advancing Ghana’s 24-hour economy, highlighting the newly launched Bright International Amusement Park as a key hub for this initiative.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony on Saturday, October 4, 2025, the president commended Greenhouse International for its dedication to empowering women through job creation and inclusive employment opportunities.
He noted that the facility will receive direct power supply from the Bui Power Authority, adding that the amusement park is expected to generate significant employment opportunities and stimulate local economic growth.
“Greenhouse is working closely with the Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industries, the Free Zones Board, and the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat because this is going to be the epicenter of the 24-hour economy. They had a few challenges that were brought to my attention.
“They had power issues, but now they will receive electricity directly from the Bui Power Plant. Power will therefore be stable, assuring all industries here of reliable electricity,” he stated.
President Mahama further encouraged both local and foreign investors to take advantage of Ghana’s stable economic climate.
He assured that the country’s strong cedi performance, positive GDP outlook, and flexible tax policies create a conducive environment for business and investment.
“Ghana is attractive and open for investment and business again. This is because we are implementing reforms that make the country more appealing to investors. All the macroeconomic indicators are trending positively, and business confidence is rising. The currency is more stable than it was in the past, creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurs and investors,” he said.
