According to Honorable Charles Adu Asinor, Project Lead for Kick4street Foundation, the initiative is aimed at mitigating the effects of illegal small-scale mining, which has affected about 90% of Ghana's water bodies. The project would utilize football and entertainment to raise funds and provide clean water to communities.

"The initiative aims to bring clean water to various homes, promoting a healthier lifestyle and reducing problems within communities," Hon. Asinor emphasized. "By combining entertainment and soccer, the project keeps kids engaged, showcases their talents, and steers them away from waywardness,” he added.

To achieve this, the initiative would also feature Regional Fun Fair Festivals and the Ghana Fest These events aim to promote tourism, culture, education, environmental sustainability, and climate change awareness. The foundation also called on the government, corporate bodies, philanthropists, and individuals to support their cause.

Nii Ahene Nunoo III, Chief Advisor to the Ga Mants3, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, emphasized the importance of access to clean water, stating that it was a fundamental human right. He expressed gratitude to Kick4street Foundation for initiating the project.

Prophet Prakash Pyne, Founder of Empower Young Lives Africa, highlighted the significant impact of clean water on education, health, and the economy. He identified collaboration as key to addressing the clean water crisis, calling on NGOs, governments, and stakeholders to work together.

Former Black Stars player Augustine Arhinful expressed his support for the initiative, citing the devastating impact of environmental degradation on Ghana's water bodies. He pledged his commitment to raising funds for the project and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the sports and entertainment industries to support the cause.
