Speaking at the handing-over ceremony, the Marketing Manager of Azar Group expressed the company's commitment to contributing to the health and well-being of communities in Ghana. The Director of Health Promotion Region, Acting Director Mabel Asafo, conveyed her immense gratitude to Azar Group for their invaluable contribution. This donation will go a long way in improving the environment of the Mutondo CHPS compound, making it a more welcoming and hygienic place for both staff and patients," she remarked.

This donation marks the beginning of further engagements between the Ghana Health Service and the private sector. These efforts are part of the USAID/Ghana Accelerating Social and Behavior Change (ASBC) support, which aims to enable the government of Ghana to engage the private sector in promoting healthy behaviors and practices in support of the public health agenda.
