Ghana will join the global community next month to mark the 77th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations (UN) Day.
The celebration is based on the main theme of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly “Solutions through Solidarity, Sustainability and Science” which sought to put the role of science at the centre stage of the UN body’s decision shaping to guide the future.
Ghana has adopted a local theme, “Building on the 3s – Solidarity, Sustainability and Sciences – towards a more resilient Ghana,” to amplify the need for evidenced-based decision making for sustainable development.
