The global alumni, led by its President, Francis Kodjo Dadzie, presented the citation to Mr Winful at this year’s closing ceremony of the Internal Audit Conference organised by the (IAA) in Accra last Friday.

The three-day conference, which was attended by internal auditors from across the country, was on the theme: “Injecting fiscal discipline into resource mobilisation and utilisation for sustainable development: The role of internal auditors.”

Citation

A citation presented to Mr Winful read, “Whereas, it is a happy occasion to congratulate you on your achievement in the auditing and accounting community of Ghana.

“Whereas, you have demonstrated innovative business practices with 38 years of expertise in corporate leadership, good governance, human resource and business improvement, policy formulation, analysis, and project management to clients and project teams, business consultant and former Senior Partner of KPMG.

“As a senior partner, you have mentored a lot of professional Accountants and still doing same as Chairman of the Internal Audit Agency Board Resolved, as the most senior Alumni at the 2022 Annual Internal Audit Conference held at the University of Professional Studies, the entire global alumni association acknowledge your contribution to the University and Business community of Ghana,” the citation read.
