The Labour Front in the year 2020 was not the best for most public and private sector workers.

For instance, the cleansing of the banking sector and liquidation of several micro-finance companies affected thousands of workers in the sector, including those who have their jobs tied to the industry.

Worse was the emergence of the global pandemic “Covid-19” which succeeded in dislocating several other jobs, particularly in private education and the hotel and tourism sector.

General Secretary of the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union, ICU, Solomon Kotei, ainting the agony of some Ghanaian workers said the entire labour force in the year 2020 got shook up to their bones.

Mr. Solomon Kotei entreated government to lessen the burden on Ghanaian workers in 2021.
