AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) has donated 150 pieces of mono desks and chairs to the Christ the King Senior High School at Obuasi.

The items were to help improve teaching and learning in the school.

Mr Emmanuel Baidoo, Social and Economic Development Officer of AGA, said the donation was part of the corporate social responsibility initiatives of the company to improve the lives of the people in the Adansi enclave.

Mr Samuel Twumasi-Ankrah, Headmaster of the school, thanked AGA for coming to the aid of the school and pledged to take good care of the items.

He said the school would continue to strengthen partnership with AGA to help improve education delivery in the school.

Mr Twumasi-Ankrah, AGA had already supported the school with a mechanized borehole, a vehicle, and a girl-child guidance and counselling centre.
