Ghana's Coronavirus confirmed cases has increased to 16.
According to the Ghana Health Service (GHS) all five were reported from Greater Accra Region.
One of the infected persons is a 29-year-old Ghanaian lady who is resident in Accra, and according to the GHS she has no history of travel.
Another 34-year-old Ghanaian lady also a resident of Accra is said to be a contact of a confirmed case at a place of work.
A 53-year-old Ghanaian male who is a resident of Tema, has no history of travel and no evidence of close contact with confirmed case also turned out positive after the test.
There is also the case of a “41-year-old Ghanaian male; arrived in Ghana by KLM on the 15 March 2020; indicated exposure with family members in Amsterdam exhibiting respiratory symptoms and also on the flight with some passengers sneezing and coughing; sample confirmed positive in the laboratory” the Service stated.
The last person is a 36-year-old Ghanaian man who is resident of Paris in France. According to the GHS the man's date of arrival in Ghana is unconfirmed and has no evidence of contact with an infected person.
The GHS says contact tracing has been initiated in all these confirmed cases.

Confirmed Cases Of COVID-19 In Ghana Rises To Sixteen (16) As At 20 March 2020 - 09:45GMT
Five (5) new confirmed cases on the 19th March 2020. All five were reported from Greater Accra Region.
