President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Wednesday inspected works on the ongoing construction of the USD448 million 97 kilometer Tema-Mpakadan rail line.
The inspection forms part of activities of his three day tour of the Greater Accra Region.
The tour ends today with stops at Tema where he would inspect a workshop for retrofitting and repairing of Coaches.
He would also inspect the Teshi LEKMA road in the Ledzokuku Constituency, after which he would call on the La Traditional Council to commiserate with them on the passing of the La Mantse.
The President as part of the tour, cut the sod for the construction of a five kilometer stretch of sea defence wall at Ningo/Prampram district.
He will end the tour with a meeting with regional executives of the New Patriotic Party.
