Some drivers at Agona Swedru in the Central Region on Monday morning brought commercial activities in the town to a halt.
Clad in red armbands and chanting war songs, the drivers complained about bad roads in the area and resorted to blocking roads to the Swedru township which serves a major transit point for many towns in the Agona area such as Akyem Oda, Winneba, Ajumako and Awutu Bawjiase.
The situation left many school children and workers stranded.
The demonstrators expressed their displeasure about the poor state of roads in the town despite many appeals to authorities to get them fixed.
