Ghanaians have been urged to make dairy nutrition an essential part of their diet.
Madam Fatoumata Doro, the Country Manager of Arla Foods Limited, who made the call, said a healthy diet was a requirement for developing healthy citizens and building a healthy nation.
Madam Doro was speaking at the launch of the company's new Dano Coffee flavoured milk under the Dano range of products.
The new Dano Coffee 3 in 1/variant is a 40g sachet that is expected to be on the market as other two existing flavours of chocolate and strawberry.
The Ghana office of Arla Food Limited, which opened in September 2017, operates two main brands Dano and Lurpak.
She said the company drives on making dairy even better, inspiring good food habits and choices.
The Country Manager said they champion dairy goodness and make it easier for people to live healthier lives.
"Hence, the initiative to provide additional dairy options for Ghanaian," she added.
Madam Mawusi Mawuenyefia, the Marketing Manager of Arla Foods Limited, said Dano Coffee was an addition to the existing flavoured variants to provide more nutritious and exciting options of dairy products.
"Being a dairy company, our flavoured products are mainly milk with an addition of natural flavours," she added.
She said barely two years in Ghana, Arla Foods Limited has introduced a good array of dairy products on to the Ghanaian market.
Madam Mawuenyefia said they also have mozzarella cheese and Lurpak Butter.
She said other dairy products would be introduced on to the market to provide a wider choice of nutritious products to Ghanaian consumers.
