Global infrastructure advisory and engineering company Aurecon has launched a new podcast series that explores how, like engineers, people from all walks of life are reimagining the future and their roles in it.
Aurecon Chief Executive Officer, William Cox, commented: “Humanity depends on engineering to help solve the wicked problems our world faces. We want our audience, and ourselves, to learn from our guests’ compelling and inspiring stories to help us shape and design a better future and reimagine engineering. We are matching our future-focused employees with movers and shakers who are helping us think differently about the challenges the world faces.”
The interviewers of Engineering Reimagined are Aurecon employees who are passionate about a specific topic. Guests on the show are individuals who can impart insights, knowledge, experience and a personal connection with a topic that is changing our world.
Guests in the first series include a French chef, award-winning inventor, earthquake expert and the first woman of colour in South Africa to receive a mathematics PhD.
“Podcasts are continuing to grow exponentially in popularity and we have identified the channel as a meaningful way to connect with audiences ranging from our employees, clients, graduate students or anyone who is keen to learn about some of humanity’s most pressing issues,” said William.
