The National Theatre on Friday reminded all individuals taking part in its logo competition to submit their works or designs before the closing date of January 21, 2019. The new logo competition, which was launched on December 17, 2018, was to give the youth, aged between 18-35 years, the chance to create a new logo that depicts the new National Theatre initiative.
A statement signed by Mrs Amy Appiah Frimpong, the Executive Director of the National Theatre, and copied to the Ghana News Agency, said the competition formed part of the new strategic plan of the National Theatre.
It said per the terms and conditions of the competition, January 21 was set for all competitors to submit their works and any works submitted after the deadline would be rejected. The statement encouraged creative persons who fall within the targeted age group to try their skills in the competition.
The winner will take home GHC5,000.00 while the four runners up will take GHC1,000.00 each.The winning logo will be unveiled on January 28, 2019 at a ceremony to launch it together with the strategic plan of the Theatre.
