The Women’s Ministry of the Global Evangelical Church has presented a Toyota Corolla salon car to Rev. Edith Adoblosu-Kuhlor, the immediate past National Coordinator of the Ministry for selflessly serving the ministry for almost a decade.
Rev. Adoblosu-Kuhlor also received a citation and an undisclosed amount of money as part of her send off package from the Ministry.
Rev. Eric Avah, the Director of Church Life and Nurture (DCLAN) who presented the items on behalf of the ministry, lauded Rev. Adoblosu-Kuhlor for positioning the Women’s ministry as a resilient and an enviable force which is producing women of substance.
The Director noted that more and more women have been empowered to recognise their significant role as not only home makers but change agents and leaders in their various fields.
“Your selfless devotion, strong leadership, integrity, diligence, coupled with your humility, has brought about both spiritual and physical reawakening among the women of the Church. These qualities have contributed and provided our women with a sense of wellbeing, establishing them on a firm foundation,” he said.
In response, Rev. Edith Adoblosu-Kuhlor expressed her gratitude to the leadership and the entire membership of the Women’s Ministry for the honour done her.
She pledged her unflinching support for the Ministry despite the fact that she has officially ended her tenure of office.
