Kunj refuses to believe that Yuvraj is telling the truth and ends up getting shot and falling into the water, however his body is nowhere to be found. The police end the search and declare Kunj dead after finding his shirt and ring and Yuvraj takes the fall for his mom. Kunj meets Dr. Pallavi and asks for her help to contact his family. She goes to Amritsar and tries to get close to Twinkle. Twinkle bails Yuvraj out of jail and her whole family gets upset. Yuvraj tries his utmost best to track down Anita. Yuvraj gets into a fatal road accident. Twinkle realises that Yuvraj is genuinely changed. The family get the news that Twinkle is two months pregnant. Plans change as Kunj gets brought to Amritsar for surgery.

Sacred Ties

Vinod and Manjusha move out and they take Punni with. Manav tells Shalini that he sees her as his responsibility and he makes it clear that he only loves Archana . One year has passed by and Manav and Archana seem to have parted ways. Vaishali prepares for her marriage with Dharmesh. Manav and Archana see one another after he finds out that she is the supervisor for the company he works for. Archana over hears Manav tell the ticket collector at the station that he and Shalini aren't married. Archana goes to see Vanita along with Manav but before Vanita can explain what happened Rasika chases them out. Savita reminds Shalini of the sacrifices Archana has made for her and the family.

It seems that even though Satya knows no more than a 10-year-old child, he is still out to protect Mahi and frustrate all other members of the Sengupta household. However, Payal begins to suspect that something else is going on here. After learning that Satya had lied to her, Mahi feels the need to get away from the house. Her plan to find some peace comes to an end when she realises that her cars breaks have failed. Satya can’t believe his eyes when he sees a replica of Mahi. He decides to follow her and see for himself who this person really is. Payal can see that this “Aleena” may just the chance for her to turn the tables on Mahi and get the property under her control. Payal realises that she has been tricked by Satya once again, however she also seems to have more plans up her sleeve.  Aleena, Mahi and Satya are determined to see who Payal is hiding. They resort to many means to try and uncover the truth.

The Promise

Pia attempts to resign from the company since she can't face Jai anymore, but Bani convinces her to stay. It is discovered that Sahil has saved the family from a great loss. Bani finds a letter to Jai from Pia expressing her love, but she mistakes it as one to Pushkar. Barnali seems to have something against Jigyasa. Jigyasa is worried about Barnali's intentions and can't seem to keep her focus. Bani shares her true feelings with Jai and that she can never share him with anyone. He is shocked to hear this as he thinks back to his night with Pia. Jai finds out that Sahil turned to Barnali for help to save the Walia Company.  Pia decides to leave Mumbai but will only stay if Jai stops her from leaving. Barnali turns Sahil against Bani. Will her plans succeed?
