Delegates to the governing New Patriotic Party’ (NPP) constituency congress in Evaloe-Adjomoro Gwira have retained the constituency officers for another term.
All of them were returned unopposed at an election supervised by the Nzema East Municipal Electoral Officer, Nana Ama Ofori. They are Nana Efate Beyeman, the Chairman, Victor Kwodwo Djovakpo, first Vice Chairman, Madam Rosemary Eshun, second Vice Chairman, Prince Charles Erzuah, Secretary, James Amakye Kenyah, Assistant Secretary, Isaac Kpolley, Treasurer, Eric Essien, Organizer, Madam Charlotte Nyankey, Women’s Organizer, Samuel Dwumo, Youth Organizer, and Yakubu Nazilu Awuni, Nasara Coordinator,
Nana Beyeman thanked the delegates for the confidence and pledged not to disappoint.
They would continue to work with a lot of energy, commitment and passion to boost the party’s attraction to voters in the area. He expressed optimism that the NPP was going to retain the constituency seat in the next election. Madam Catherine Afeku, the Member of Parliament (MP) and Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, applauded the over 600 delegates for the peaceful and successful conduct of the congress.
She said it was a demonstration of the unity of the party and called for that to be sustained. She advised everybody to be patient with the government as it worked with determination to make things better.
