The Managing Director of the Medical Centre, Dr. Elikem Christian Tamaklo noted that “What we’re looking at when it comes to healthcare is making sure the data is protected. We are registered with the National Communications Authority, in terms of making sure that everything is actually protected according to the Protection Act.
So, especially when it comes to telemedicine as well as images and video conferencing, all this would be on a secure network so that we can ensure patient data is protected at all times.” He said with the growing demands of patients’ quest for quality healthcare solutions at their convenience, it was imperative that as a patient-centred organization, they get closer to the doorstep of Ghanaians.
Dr. Tamaklo also hinted that the presence of an ambulance at the centre will ensure patients are transported when the need arises. The Deputy Director of General of the Ghana Health Service Dr. Gloria Quansah Asare, commended the board and management of Nyaho Medical Centre for the efforts they put in delivering quality health care to Ghanaians.
