An official statement by the GIS signed by the Head of the Public Affairs, DSI Micheal Amoako-Attah, and copied the Ghana News Agency in Accra, said it has neither engaged the services of any persons to conduct any recruitment exercise on its behalf as being purported.  

The statement said any recruitment exercise to be conducted by the Service would be duly advertised in the national dailies and also on the official website of the Service.

“The general public is therefore advised to ignore any such advertisement in the media and are further cautioned not to fall prey to such scams,” it added.
