Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona VI, the Osu Mantse, has urged the citizens of the area to focus on the education of their children rather than engage in petty squabbles and litigation, which does not engender development.
He said if the people do not stop the litigation, their children would be the losers since they would not enjoy any better future due to the absence of strong educational foundation by their forebears.
Nii Kinka Dowuona, also the President of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs, gave the advice when the chiefs and people of the Osu traditional area celebrated their Homowo festival.
He said communities in the Greater Accra Region needed development, but that had eluded them due to conflicts among some chiefs, adding that the monies used for litigation must be invested in the education of the youth for a brighter future.
The chief said the Osu Traditional Council would ensure that parents enrolled their children in school and those who shirked that responsibility would be sanctioned.
He warned people who were influenced by money to foment trouble to desist from the act so as to live as a united family to develop the area.
