The Accra Ridge Church Men’s Fellowship has donated food items to the Dzorwulu Special School to support the upkeep of the students.
The donation included bags of sugar, rice, flour, corn, gari, beans, five litre oil, three cartons of milk, two cartons of mackerel, 50 T-shirts and second-hand clothing.
The presentation forms part of the association’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
Presenting the items, Captain Sammy Thompson, Vice President of the association said the group was motivated by its public spirited effort to bring relief to the under-privileged in society.
He said the Men’s fellowship would continue to support the school in addressing other needs of the school.
Mrs. Veronica Sackey, headmistress of the school expressed gratitude to the association for consistently supporting the school and appealed to other organisations to come to the aid of the school.
