Professor Daniels Obeng Ofori, Vice -Chancellor of the Catholic University College of Ghana, Fiapre has advised students of the university to be creative and innovative to help in the development of the society and the nation in general.
He gave the advice during the matriculation ceremony of 105 students admitted into the university this academic year at Fiapre near Sunyani, the Brong Ahafo Regional capital. The students would study Economics and business administration, public health and Allied sciences, education, information and communications and Science and Technology at FIapre near Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.
Professor Obeng- Ofori advised them to be committed, hardworking with positive moral and ethical values that would enable them to achieve their potentials and dreams to the pathway of success.
He asked the students to be disciplined to become useful future citizens.
“Do not allow any body to make you feel inferior but always feel that your life has the ultimate significance”, he said, urging them to have the basic principle of determination to achieve excellence in their various fields of endeavour.
Professor Obeng- Ofori entreated them to be of good behaviour and obey the rules and regulations governing the university.
