Kpando Senior High School has installed Mr Eric Seddy Kutortse, an entrepreneur, Development Chief for the School. The honour was in appreciation of Mr Kutortse’s continued support to the School, teachers and students at the handing over of a 20-seater water closet facility funded by the 1992/1994 Year Group of the School, of which Mr Kutortse is a member.
A citation he received extolled him for providing bitumen surfacing and asphalting roads in the school and the award of full scholarship to 37 students. In a related development, the Yayra congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church at Afoega has held a service in honour of Mr Kutortse and Mr Stanley Akaboa, a Banker, for supporting the construction of a Pastor’s residence for the Church.
Reverend M.E. Moh, Anfoega District Minister of the Church, expressed gratitude to the two for willing to share their blessings with the Church. Togbe Tepre Hodo IV, Paramount Chief of Anfoega said the gesture of the two demonstrated true virtues of Christians and charged others to “stop complaining and help build mother Ghana.”
Mr Kutortse who is the Chief Executive Officer of First Sky Limited, a Construction firm, said it was an opportunity to support the work of God and bless humanity.
