Members of the Christian Women Intercessors Fellowship (CWIF), at the weekend held an intercessory prayer session as part of activities marking its 10th Anniversary celebrations.
It on the theme: "Christian Women in Development-Enforcing Moral Values."
Reverend Sister Cecilia Clara Kudeha, in-charge of Reverend Sisters in the Ho Catholic Diocese urged the members of CWIF to set good examples for women and the larger society as people "standing before God on behalf of others".
She said as Christians, their deeds and speeches should always touch the hearts of people so as to win them to Christ.
Rev Sister Kudeha appealed to them to strive through prayers to help the society to overcome its ills because "development cannot occur in the
midst of evil".
Leaders of various religious denominations in their goodwill messages called for co-operation among all churches and leaders and give maximum support to the fellowship in enforcing moral values.
