Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Circuit, on Friday remanded Richmond Kwabena Kese, 20, who was already serving a seven-year jail term, for allegedly possessing 175 grammes of wee.
Kese, who pleaded not guilty, would re-appear on Friday, November 26.
Police Chief Inspector Isaac Mensah-Appenteng told the Court presided over by Mr Justice William Boampong that the complainants are Prison officers of the Kumasi Central Prisons.
The prosecution said that on March 16, at about 1400 hours, Kese and two other convicts went to work outside the Prisons.
Chief Insp. Mensah-Appenteng said while undergoing search at the main gate of the Prison on their return, dried leaves suspected to be wee in a polythene bag, concealed in a fertilizer sack full of charcoal, was found.
The prosecution said Kese claimed ownership of the wee, and led Prison Officers to a spot near the Prisons' Commander's Bungalow to retrieve more wee but refused to disclose the source of supply.
Chief Insp. Mensah-Appenteng said the accused claimed that he was framed up by the Prison offers.
