The District Chief Executive for Adansi South, Mr Benjamin Anhwere, has cut a sod to construct a two-storey dormitory and six-unit classroom block for the New-Edubiase Senior High School (SHS).
Funded by the Government, the project would to help to create more space for students in the school.
Mr Anhwere stressed on the determination of the Mills' Administration to ensure that school environment becomes more conducive for effective teaching and learning.
He said everything would be done to supply the school with a bus and computers. Additionally, they would build more bungalows to provide decent accommodation for the teachers.
The DCE said equal attention would be given to the Akrofuom SHS also in the district.
Already, a six-classroom block is being built for the school.
Mr Daniel Baffour Awuah, Headmaster of New-Edubiase SHS, praised the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) for constructing a 10-unit classroom block to ease pressure on the school.
He cautioned the students against indiscipline to ensure smooth academic work.
