The Kade District Magistrate's Court has remanded in police custody Abdul Fatahu, a scraps dealer for allegedly breaking into a shop and stealing.
Fatahu who pleaded not guilty will reappear on October 24.
The magistrate, Mr Abdul Majid Iliasu advised the accused to assist the police in arresting his accomplice who is at large.
Police Inspector Stephen Atsu Gamado said the complainant, Kwame Kyere, an electrician who owns a shop at Boadua, had a call at about 0230 hours on September 15 that thieves had broken into his premises and had made away with some car parts.
Fatahu was identified by the complainant and who caused his arrest and was handed over to the police.
