A Singaporean national of Indian origin died, while two Indians suffered serious injuries after their car rammed into a tree, apparently due to negligence of the driver who was drunk.
Harinder Singh, 26, died on the spot after the accident on Sunday night, while Haji Maideen Shaik Dawood, 35, and Gurdial Singh, 25, suffered
serious injuries, a media report said on Tuesday.
The two were admitted to an Intensive Care Unit of a hospital here, it added.
Dawood and Gurdial were from India, the Straits Times said, while stating that Harinder was slated to marry next month.
The 26-year-old driver, who did not have a licence to drive, was driving under the influence of alcohol, the report said, without mentioning
his name but said he is helping the police in the investigations.
