Their pleas were not taken and are to reappear on May 7.
Muniru Musah, 41, a tailor was charged with five counts of conspiracy to murder, attempting to murder and murdering 60 year old Talata Awuni at Daduri, a suburb of Bawku, unlawful possession of firearm and possessing 27 rounds of ammunitions.

house and shot her but missed the husband, one Moro Salifu.
The woman was rushed to the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital for treatment and died on admission.
Sgt. Azanyitiga said the police recovered two ammunitions and four shells of AK 47 rifle from the suspect and had a tip off on April 16 that he was among those who murdered Talata.
He said later when the accused person's house was searched the police found one unloaded magazine and another one loaded with 37 rounds of
ammunitions and an assault rifle concealed in a polythene bag and hidden in a stuffing chair.
The prosecutor explained that a further search by the police in an uncompleted building where accused keeps his fuel wood revealed another AK 47 assault rifle buried in the ground.
Counsel for the suspect, Mr. Anthony Namoo said his client is prepared to co-operate with the police until the case is over and appealed to the prosecution to seek advice from the Attorney General's office to speed up the process.
In the second case, prosecution explained that Yahaya Ayalige is charged for the death of one Danladi Amadu over the marriage of his ex-wife.
Sgt. Azanyitiga said Ayalige did not take kindly to the marriage and threatened to kill him.
He pursued the threat by shooting Danladi in his room and killed him instantly, while his wife also sustained gunshot injuries.
Counsel for the accused, Mr. Amoak Afoko told the court that the accused was being held on mere suspicion because there was no connection
between the death of the deceased and the accused.
However counsel's application for bail for the accused was not granted.
In the third murder case, the prosecution charged Rasheed Abilla, an electrician and four accomplices who are at large for the murder of one Rauf Alida.

The prosecutor explained that the two were rushed to the Bawku Presby Hospital where Alida died.
He said after the suspects had successfully executed the crime and were escaping they shot 13 rounds of ammunition at some dogs barking at them and in the process hit two cows and a donkey.
This alarmed some people in the eighbourhood who called a police team who arrested the suspect who was riding a bicycle during curfew hours.
