Rev. Thomas Henry Quarmson, Head Pastor of the Holy Ghost Assemblies of God Church, on Sunday called on Christians not to indulge themselves in social vices.
Rev. Quarmson who made the call to climax the Church's Easter Convention, regretted that many Christians instead of proclaiming how Christ
came to die for them and repent from their sins, rather indulged in criminal activities.
He said such things tarnished the image of Christianity, and mocked the Resurrection power of Jesus Christ in the eyes of the unbeliever.
Rev. Quarmson also advised the Youth to refrain from immoral activities including homosexuality, armed robbery, pre-marital sex, smoking and stealing.
At the Christ Apostolic Church also in Ashaiman, Rev. Doctor Amponsah Frimpong, Senior Pastor of the Church, charged Christians to love one another and bury all their differences.
He said by so doing, they would be emulating what God did for the world, by giving His son to die for our sins.
Rev. Dr. Frimpong also advised Ghanaians to be mindful of the deadly HIV/ AIDS, which was now creeping into the Church.
He explained that the disease which was no respecter of persons, could affect anyone no matter their religious background.
Rev. Frimpong ended by advising the Youth to celebrate the Easter in a godly manner, and refrain from all negative activities.
