France on Wednesday strongly condemned the massacre of 76 security personnel by Naxalites in India's western state of Chhattisgarh and extended its "unstinting support" in fighting all forms of terrorism.
"France most firmly condemns the Maoist guerrilla attacks perpetrated against the Indian governmental security forces...France expresses its sympathy for the families and the near and dear ones of those who fell victim to these acts," a
statement issued by French Embassy said.
"The authorities and the people of the Republic of India can be assured of France's unstinting support as well as her determination to remain at their side in the fight against terrorism in all its forms," it said.
