Strongly condemning the beheading of two Sikhs in the tribal areas of Pakistan, the Indian National Overseas Congress Wednesday asked Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to demand for their extradition from Pakistan.
"Cold blooded murder of innocents is a crime against humanity and no religious tenets would justify such an insane act," said Dr Surinder Malhotra, president of INOC in a statement.
"This dastardly incident once again reveals the lack of resolve on the part of Government of Pakistan to protect its minority citizens," Malhotra said.
INOC shares the grief and sorrow of the families
involved and requests Indian Government to do its utmost to bring those terrorists to justice and compensate the families in their distress; the statement said.
